The agreement between you and BiteMeasure when you use the app.

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the BiteMeasure AI mobile application and related services (the “Service”), provided by BiteMeasure (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Estimated nutrition only
The Service produces nutrition estimates based on image analysis and the details you provide. Results include estimated calories, calorie ranges, portion estimates, macros, and confidence scores. We do not claim exact calories. Actual values can differ due to hidden ingredients, oils, sauces, preparation, and portion size.
2. Not medical advice
The Service is provided for general wellness and informational purposes only and is not medical, nutritional, or health advice. It is not a substitute for professional guidance, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified professional before making dietary or health decisions, especially if you have a medical condition.
3. User responsibility
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for reviewing and correcting estimates, and for any decisions you make based on the Service. You agree to use the Service lawfully and not to misuse, reverse-engineer, or disrupt it.
4. Subscriptions & free trial
Certain features require a paid subscription. We may offer a 7-day free trial to new subscribers. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will begin and the applicable fee will be charged. Subscriptions renew automatically for the chosen period until canceled.
Pricing may vary by region and app store and may change over time. Any price changes will apply in accordance with the app store’s policies.
5. Promo codes
We may offer promotional codes that provide discounts or trial extensions. Promo codes are subject to their specific terms, may expire, are non-transferable, have no cash value, and may be withdrawn at any time.
6. Cancellation & billing
Subscriptions are billed and managed through Google Play (and/or the applicable app store). You can manage or cancel your subscription through Google Play in your account’s subscription settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Except where required by law or store policy, payments are non-refundable.
7. AI limitations
The Service relies on artificial intelligence and image analysis, which are inherently imperfect. Outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unexpected. You acknowledge that estimates are not guaranteed and should be reviewed and adjusted by you.
8. Shared food & user content
You retain ownership of the content you submit (such as photos, descriptions, and notes). You grant us a limited license to process and display that content to provide the Service. If you share meals with approved connections, you are responsible for what you choose to share. You agree not to submit unlawful, infringing, or harmful content.
9. Account termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or use the Service in a way that may cause harm or legal exposure. Certain provisions survive termination.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any reliance on nutrition estimates. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim, to the extent permitted by law.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
