1. Account deletion options
Option 1: Delete inside the app
You can delete your account directly inside the BiteMeasure app.
- Open the BiteMeasure app
- Go to Settings
- Tap Account
- Tap Delete Account
- Confirm deletion
If this option is not available in your app version yet, please use the request form or email option below.
Option 2: Request deletion by email
Users can email: support@bitemeasure.com
Email subject: Account Deletion Request
Ask users to include:
- The email address used for their BiteMeasure account
- Their username, if available
2. What data will be deleted
BiteMeasure will delete or anonymize:
- Firebase Authentication account
- Profile information
- Food logs and meal history
- Food photos
- Nutrition label photos
- AI-generated nutrition estimates
- Coach and suggestion history
- Friend/share data connected to the account
- Notification tokens
3. Data that may be retained
Some limited records may be retained when required for legal, security, fraud prevention, tax, accounting, or app-store purchase records.
Examples:
- Subscription/payment transaction records managed by Google Play or Apple
- Security logs
- Records required to comply with legal obligations

We aim to complete deletion requests within 30 days.
