1. Plans and pricing
BiteMeasure AI offers the following subscription plans. Prices are in U.S. dollars and may vary by region, currency, and app store. Each plan includes a food-scan allocation used for AI meal analysis.

2. Free trial
New subscribers may be offered a 7 days free trial that includes 15 food scans. One free trial per user. Cancel anytime before it ends to avoid being charged. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription begins automatically and the applicable fee is charged. Trial eligibility is determined by the app store, and only one trial is generally available per user.
3. How subscriptions begin
You start a subscription by selecting a plan in the App and confirming the purchase through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Your access to paid features begins once the store confirms the purchase (or when a free trial starts).
4. Billing
Subscriptions are billed through your Apple or Google account. The monthly plan is billed each month, and the annual plan is billed once per year, in each case at the price shown at purchase. Applicable taxes may be added by the store.
5. Auto-renewal
Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends, at the then-current price for the same plan. Cancellation must be completed through Apple or Google — see below.
6. Scan allocation and expiration
- Monthly plan: 150 food scans every billing cycle. Scans reset at the start of each monthly billing cycle.
- Annual plan: 200 food scans per month (up to 2,400 scans per year). Best value. Scans are allocated monthly across the annual term.
- Free trial: 15 food scans for the trial period.
Unless otherwise stated in the App, scan allocations reset at the start of each billing cycle and do not roll over — unused scans expire at the end of the applicable period. If you reach your scan limit, you can wait for the next cycle or, where available, upgrade your plan.
7. Cancellation
You can cancel at any time. Cancellation is handled by the app store, not directly by BiteMeasure:
- iOS: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → BiteMeasure → Cancel Subscription.
- Android: Google Play → Menu → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → BiteMeasure → Cancel.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you keep access until then and are not charged again.
8. Failed payments
If a renewal payment fails, the app store may retry the charge according to its policies. If payment cannot be completed, your access to paid features may be paused or downgraded until a valid payment method is provided.
9. Upgrades and downgrades
You may switch plans through the app store. Upgrades (for example, monthly to annual) generally take effect immediately, with proration handled by the store where supported. Downgrades typically take effect at the start of the next billing period. Scan allocations follow the plan in effect for each period.
10. Restoring purchases
If you reinstall the App or switch devices using the same Apple or Google account, you can restore an active subscription using the “Restore Purchases” option in the App. Subscriptions are tied to the store account used at purchase.
11. Price changes
We may change subscription prices and scan allocations. Where required, the app store will notify you and, for increases, seek your consent before the change applies to your renewal. Changes do not affect the period you have already paid for.
12. Refunds
Purchases are generally handled by Apple and Google, and refunds are subject to their policies. See our Refund Policy for details and exceptions.
